How We Work
High-end audio is personal. Every system we sell is chosen for a specific room, a specific listener, and a specific goal. Here is how the process works.
Most Legacy Audio speakers are built to order at their factory in Springfield, Illinois. When you place an order, your speakers are crafted specifically for you -- including your chosen finish, driver configuration, and any custom options.
Because these are made-to-order products, we cannot accept returns on custom configurations. This is why Dave spends time up front making sure the system is right for your room and your preferences -- before you commit.
Dave's approach is simple: he would rather lose a sale than put the wrong system in your room. Every purchase starts with a conversation about your space, your listening habits, and what you want the experience to feel like.
For local clients, Dave offers private listening sessions -- bringing equipment to your home so you can hear the difference in your own space before making a decision. No obligation, no pressure.
All Legacy Audio products carry the manufacturer's warranty directly from Legacy Audio. Warranty terms vary by product category -- Dave can walk you through the specifics for anything you are considering.
If you ever have an issue, call Dave first. He will work directly with Legacy Audio to resolve it quickly.
All freight shipments are fully insured. If your order arrives with any damage, document it with photos before signing the delivery receipt and contact Dave immediately. We will handle the claim and get replacement product to you as fast as possible.
Do not refuse delivery unless the damage is severe. Note all damage on the delivery receipt and contact us within 48 hours.
Every situation is different. If you have questions about ordering or anything else, the fastest way to get answers is to reach out directly.
