The i-V6 provides six channels of ICEedge Class D amplification, enough to drive a complete 5.1 surround system including a dedicated subwoofer channel. At 610 watts per channel at 8 ohms, every channel has the authority to handle dynamic peaks and sustained output with ease.

The Legacy Audio i·V6 at $8,000 provides six channels of 610-watt amplification, enough to power a complete 5.1 system with a dedicated amplifier channel for a passive subwoofer, or a 6.0 system for immersive audio formats that demand additional surround channels. For installations where Legacy's powered subwoofers are used, the sixth channel can drive a height speaker, a second center channel, or additional zone coverage.
The i·V6 is the sweet spot for home theater installations that need more than five channels but don't require the seven or eight channels of the larger i·V models. Six channels of matched amplification from a single chassis, with the same 750 damping factor and 127 dB dynamic range across every channel, ensures consistent performance throughout the system.
As home theater formats evolve toward more immersive configurations (7.1.4 Atmos, 9.1.6 DTS:X, and beyond), the i·V6 can serve as one component in a multi-amplifier system. Pair it with an i·V4 for a ten-channel system, or with another i·V6 for twelve channels. Because every i·V amplifier uses identical ICEedge modules, the channels maintain perfect sonic consistency regardless of which chassis they live in.
